Vype wins at Product of the Year awards again!

The Vype ePod has won in the e-cigarette category at this year’s eagerly-anticipated UK Product of the Year awards – the UK’s largest consumer survey of product innovation.

This is the second consecutive year that Vype has won in this category, following the success of the ePen 3 in 2019.

This second successive win for a Vype product highlights the strength of BAT’s New Category product pipeline, the expertise of our UK-based Research and Development team and demonstrates how innovation has remained a driving force behind our business.

Since launching our first e-cigarette in the UK in 2013, we have made impressive progress, now offering a range of innovative, exciting products in more than 40 countries around the world. Over that period BAT has invested over $4bn in the development, manufacture and commercialisation of these products. Our world-class R&D centre in Southampton, UK, plays a huge part in this progress as the home of our research into areas including batteries, devices and e-liquids.

Product of the Year entries undergo a rigorous assessment process before more than 10,000 shoppers vote to name the winning products. The Vype ePod was commended by Product of the Year for “seamlessly blending style and satisfaction.” The device uses ceramic heating technology and its features include slot-in, slot-out magnetic cartridge and charging mechanisms.
